Troubleshoot

Common problems

The popup says to open a Grok conversation

The extension only acts on a supported Grok page. Open a conversation on grok.com or x.com/i/grok, then reopen the popup. A Grok home screen with no conversation selected has nothing to export.

A long conversation exports only part of the thread

Grok renders long threads lazily. Keep the tab in the foreground while the extension auto-scrolls, or scroll to the top of the thread once yourself and export again. On Free, Full conversation stops at 40 messages by design.

The export was blocked by a Free limit

Free covers the last answer, full threads up to 40 messages, up to 12 selected messages, and one 3-conversation batch trial. The popup names the exact limit it hit. See Free versus Pro before upgrading.

Pro is not active after paying

Reopen the popup in the browser you checked out from — activation is claimed on the next open. On any other browser, use Restore Purchase with your purchase email and code.

The PDF looks wrong or an image is missing

Re-export with a larger Margin and a different Page size, and keep Quality on High. Images that Grok loads from a source the browser cannot re-read are skipped rather than exported broken.

The batch dialog lists no conversations

Batch export reads the visible Grok conversation sidebar. Open the sidebar on the Grok page first, let the list load, then press Batch export again.
